 ADOPTING ORDINANCES

  • ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE 1987 S-6 SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BUTLER, INDIANA
    WHEREAS, the City of Butler from time to time enacts ordinances', and
    WHEREAS, the City of Butler has hired a company to prepare Supplements to the City Code which embody said ordinances as passed from time to time; and
    WHEREAS, said ordinances are, in fact, adopted as law by the Butler City Council prior to being a supplement and inserted in the City Code Book.
    NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Butler, Indiana, that:
    l. The 1987 S-6 Supplement to the Butler, Indiana Code of Ordinances consists of a codification of Ordinances 1073, 1074, 1075, 1083, 1084, 1085, 1086, 1087, 1088, 1089, 1091, 1092, 1093, 1095 and the Easement enacted 9-15-86, already passed and approved by the Common Council of the City of Butler. Therefore, no additional approval is necessary to validate these ordinances.
    2. The 1987 S-6 Supplement to the Butler, Indiana Code of Ordinances also consists of changes made to Title III Administration and Title XV Land Usage, in order to update these titles in accordance with changes to Laws of the State of Indiana, and that therefore:
    (A) Title III Administration be and the same is hereby amended by the repeal of existing Section 30.04 and the enactment of new Section 30.04; and
    (B) Title XV Land Usage be and the same is hereby amended by the repeal of existing Sections 152.50 through 152.53, and the enactment of new Sections 152.50 through 152.67, and the enactment of new division (B) to Section 152.99.
    3. That the 1987 S-6 Supplement to the City of Butler's Code of Ordinances as reviewed and approved by the City Attorney and the City Council is hereby adopted.
